I had been playing with the idea of doing a spaghetti squash and meatballs dish in the slow cooker (at the same time) for a while now. I decided to take a stab at it making it as easy as humanly possible.
My sister, Terri, sent me this super simple delicious recipe! Low Carb Broccoli Cheese Soup: 2 T. butter 3 cups chicken broth 8oz. cream cheese (I use organic) 1 cup heavy cream (not ultra-pasteurized!) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 2 bunches of fresh broccoli, chopped Heat broth and broccoli until broccoli is tender.
Remember the Cabbage Soup diet from the 80′s? I never really cared much for the diet plan, but I did like the soup from it. I have updated the “Fat Burning Soup” recipe by making it in the crock pot and and adding some garlic cloves and parmesan cheese for additional depth of flavor.
